Philanthropy: helping Gabby

The Buffs are proud to continue to support Gabby Wright on her journey. We’ve written previously on our activities to support Gabby and her whanau.

The Buffalo Charitable Trust has sponsored Gabby for a new racing wheelchair (examples of Gabby racing in her current wheelchair above).

This is why we’re Buffs - to help our communities and families through philanthropy, one of the major aims for Buffaloes. Join the Buffs today!

Gabby has sent us this message:

Hi Ray, Lewis and the Buffalo Charitable Trust brothers,

I would like to say a huge thank you to you all and the Buffalo Charitable Trust for your support and funding my new racing chair. This new chair will help take me to the next level in my racing and hopefully help me to fulfill my dream of one day going to the Paralympics, representing New Zealand in wheelchair racing.

Your support and generosity over the last 7 years has opened up opportunities for me that I might not have otherwise had, so I am extremely grateful to the Trust. I plan to do all of you proud and I will keep you updated with how things are going. I can’t wait to get my new chair and get going!

Thanks again,

From Gabby
